We all watched as the adorable Molly Malaney fell in love on national television during ABC’s The Bachelor. Then, we watched the fairytale romance bloom as Jason and Molly planned their dream wedding. But we wanted to know, when the cameras are off and Molly is living her everyday life, what’s she like? Does she hit the gym? Have a weakness for Big Macs? So we went straight to the source. Molly answers all of our questions on acheiving her own inner and outer glow.

What’s you #1 way to unwind/relax after a stressful day?MM: After a long stressful day, I like to get into comfy sweatpants, sit in a quiet room, and stretch for 10 to 15 minutes.  This allows me to clear my head, slow my heart rate, and completely relaxes my body.

What’s you beauty regime? Has it changed since being on the Bachelor?MM: I have had the same morning beauty routine for the past 10 years, and I don’t think it has changed at all since being on the Bachelor.  Only if I am going to an event or wedding will I “doll it up” a little more than normal.  It takes a lot of work to be “TV ready” all of the time.  I just don’t have the energy or time to do that every single day.  I also feel that people look far more beautiful after taking 10 minutes to get ready versus taking 3 hours to get ready.  It’s more natural.

Any products you can’t live without—either expensive or great drug store finds?MM: I was introduced to Mally Roncol’s make-up line at my wedding.  Not only is Mally the most incredible make-up artist, but she has created the BEST make-up line.  After the torrential down-pour during our wedding ceremony, my make-up didn’t need a single touch up.  This stuff is rain proof, sweat proof…bullet proof!  I use everything in her line from the concealer to the eye shadows.  Her smoky eye kit is my go-to tool for a night out on the town!  The best part about her make-up is that they all come with instructions on how to apply correctly. 

Any beauty regimes that have been passed down from generation to generation (aka, your mom always used Dove soap to wash her face and now you do, etc)?MM: When I was younger, my mom always had her nails painted, so I couldn’t wait to start wearing nail polish just like her.  Boy, did I take that and run with it!  RARELY will you ever see me without nail polish on.  This is probably the most high-maintenance quality about me.  I paint my nails at least twice a week. 

What about workout regime? What’s your fave workout? What workout do you hate but do it anyways because you really think it works?MM: Circuit training is definitely the most effective way for me to workout.  I can’t sit on a treadmill for an hour.  I get too bored…and I simply just don’t like working out.  With circuit training, the exercises are constantly changing, so it keeps me entertained and my muscles guessing.
As I was getting ready for our wedding, I saw a personal trainer every single day.  He used circuit training methods with me, and I got in the best shape of my life.  Now that I’m no longer in “wedding mode”, I don’t get to the gym as much.  So, to keep myself in shape, I do the P90X videos, which are a form of circuit training…and you can do them at home!

Favorite healthy food?MM: I love vegetables.  I’m definitely more of a salty person than a sweet person.  So I will always choose broccoli over an apple. 


Favorite indulgence food?MM: Rice!  I could eat Rice-A-Roni for every single meal!  Luckily there is the somewhat healthier option of brown rice…but I would much rather eat the unhealthy stuff!


Favorite thing about being married?MM: I love having someone to come home to every single night.  After a long day, it’s so nice to come home, make dinner, and snuggle on the couch with Jason.  Even though I live with him, I still get really excited to see Jason after work.

How do you keep your skin glowing despite traveling?MM: It’s tough to consistently workout and eat healthy when we are travelling so much.  In that case, I’m always sure to carve out extra time sleep and drink a lot of water.  This helps keep my energy level up and my skin hydrated.
